the following utilities are required to operate the printer:
- Compressed air, min. 6 bar / 87 psi, not oiled.
- Power Supply: 230 VAC ± 10%, 50/60 Hz, 60 VA (cable no. 1 + 2)
- Synchronisation contact of the packaging machine (cable no. 3 + 4) (is omitted with automatic start)
- Ready signal is provided by the printer (cable no. 5 + 6) The connection is optional.

 

mounting on a packaging machine:

To mount the printer on top of a thermoforming packaging machine, use the mounting parts provided by AMACO. We have a lot of different brackets, fitting the different machine types. Make sure to fix the printer in a perfect 90° angel to the packaging machine to prevent the top web from running out of track. Tighten all screws firmly.

Now attach the ink container with it´s holder on the backside of the packaging machine, not more then 100 cm / 39" below the level of the ink system. Connect the container with the two tubes to the ink system. Fill the container to the half with ink

 

 

film feed:  
For the feed of the upper film (8) open Plexiglas cover (1).
The film passes through the printer at the guide roller (2)
and exits around the guide roller (3),
(4),(5) and (6) towards the sealing station.
There are two possibilities for mounting the guide roller (2),
above or below the film feed slot entrance.
After closing the Plexiglas door (1) the printer is operational.
